Lancia Musa 5th Avenue

An expression of the best car made in Italy and queen of elegance in the automobile sector -  for the past three years the Lancia Musa has been the best selling minivan in Italy - the Musa 5th Avenue combines the comfort, space and class of a limousine, with the agility and compactness of a city car. It is still a fascinating and original vehicle that fully reflects Italian taste famous around the world.

The Musa range consists of three trims (Silver, Gold and Platinum), a special series (Poltrona Frau) and four power units Euro 5 with Start&Stop as standard (on petrol and diesel): 1.4 16v with 95 HP Euro 5, 1.3 Multijet with 95 HP Euro 5, 1.6 Multijet with 120 HP and 1.4 8v LPG Ecochic with 77 HP. All engines deliver balance between performance, consumption and environmental friendliness, demonstrated by some of the lowest CO2 emissions in the segment.

The exterior of the Musa 5th Avenue concept car has new headlamps and black rear-view mirrors which, on the one hand reflect the latest market trends, and on the other hand emphasise the family feeling shared by other Lancia models.

In line with the unmistakable Lancia style of recent years, the Musa welcomes passengers and the driver into an atmosphere combining excitement with functionality, thanks to the adjustable seats, which can take on many different positions. The back seat with equipped armrest, is sliding with the option of enlarging the boot or letting passengers seated in the back have more legroom. It is also 60/40 split folding and reclining; the front passenger seat can also be turned into a handy table by folding down the backrest. Lancia's tradition of elegance and refinement is also reflected in the special attention paid to details and the refined matching of the body colours with the colours of the interiors.

Lancia confirms its tradition for paying attention to the craftsmanship of interiors, but by using original combinations of materials and colours it demonstrates a modern interpretation of one of its symbolic values.

The public in Bologna can admire the 5th Avenue concept car. The utmost expression of elegance of the city limousine is recognisable by its two-toned body (Angelico white and Masaccio black top), specific logo, privacy windows, 16" two-tone wheels and an extremely original New York skyline screenprinting on the pillars.

Attention to detail and elegance are also evident inside the special series, as borne out by the top-quality Poltrona Frau leather trim chosen for the dashboard and seats with its distinctive "capitonné" effect (a form of padding crafted entirely by hand and until now reserved for the most sophisticated furnishings): this marks an absolute first for the automotive industry and once again confirms the brand's magical ability to combine innovation and elegance.

The new Lancia Musa 5th Avenue offers the following as standard: seats and dashboard in Poltrona Frau leather, dual zone climate control, privacy windows, radio CD MP3  player with steering wheel controls, fog lights, ESP, rain and brightness sensors, cruise control, parking sensor, GranLuce sunroof, electric rear windows and 16" alloy wheels.

The model on show in Bologna is powered by a bi-fuel (petrol-LPG) 1.4 Euro 5 engine that packsa maximum power output of 77 HP (57 Kw) at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 115 Nm (11.7 kgm) at 3000 rpm. The performance levels are very attractive: acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 13.5 seconds while the top speed is 163 km/h. Besides the 77 HP 1.4 bi-fuel (petrol/LPG) engine, the 5th Avenue special series is available with 1.3 Multijet power units with 95 HP, 1.4  with 95 HP petrol (both with Start&Stop as standard).
