This time, the CAM SHAFT company from Kempen, Germany, on the Lower Rhine has got the design task to match the outer skin of a Porsche 997 Carrera Cabrio to the partially by the car owner in satin white modified interior with dark blue leather equipment and white seams.
Out of the (nearly) endless offer of color shades, the Kempen professionals decided to make a mat sapphirine foil wrapping. As perfect contrast, the letterings and the car sport design stripes have been executed in shiny gold.
The wheel-tire-combination, consisting in gold-colored series Ultraleggera OZ rims in 8,5x20 in. with tires 235/25 ZR20 on the front axle and 12x20 in. with 305/20 ZR20 on the rear axle in combination with a B16 Bilstein chassis, could not go better. Moreover, before wrapping an original Porsche GT3 front apron and TECHART side skirts have been installed.
In this case, the wrapping price is about 2,100 Euro incl. VAT and plus 780 Euro for the multicolor deco-stripes on sides and bonnet. Optionally, entries and visible door edges can also be foiled in each customer desired color for only 720 Euro.
It seems to be a well known fact that CAM SHAFT meanwhile has been registered as PP- Performance-Center for the NRW area and thus it was able to considerably enlarge its tuning offers in fields of power improvements. This way, the Kempen company offers the matching PP-Performance power improvement – to complete the service package – also for Porsche 997 Carrera. This item – in PP-Performance stage 2 with header and valve commanded exhaust system – lends wings e.g. to the Porsche 911 to jump from 345 serial HP up to alert 380 tuned HP.
