Vorsteiner is proud to unveil our new VSE-004 Center Lock Wheel! This is the latest addition to our Special Edition Forged Collection, and features our very first motorsport-inspired center lock design, manufactured specifically for the new 991 Porsche 911 Turbo S.
The new VSE-004 Center Lock Wheel features a Brushed Shadow Gloss face and Brushed Matte Clear outer barrel, dozens of other finish combinations available. Fitment will be for the 2014+ Porsche 911 Turbo S in the following sizes:
- 21x9 front (for 255/30/21 tire size)
- 21x13 rear (for 355/25/21 tire size)
For each set of VSE-004, a mere 30 hours of precision machining is required. The individually cut spokes are machined to flow harmoniously with the stepped lip, emphasizing every intricate angle.
Vorsteiner has invested hundreds of hours of R&D to minimize weight and maximize strength to weight ratio. We worked extensively with the particularly low-tolerance center lock mechanism and minimized the center nut housing area to minimize rotational inertia.
Within the wheel center, the center nut lock surfaces are machined with a high degree of precision to ensure a full secure lock every time. Under cutting is performed behind the wheel spokes to minimize weight, and the rivet hardware is hidden for a clean and modern center face appearance.
