The exhaust experts of Eisenmann Exhaust Systems GmbH have tremendously upgraded their portfolio for the current 3-series generation of the BMW F30 (Limousine) / F31 (Touring). Meanwhile, the renowned company from Hemmingen in the State of Baden Württemberg with its long tradition in the sector offers adequate solutions for several customary levels of motorization.
Two mufflers respectively, are thus obtainable for the four-cylinder, 3-series diesel models (316d, 318d, 320d and 320d EfficientDynamics Edition) as well as for the strong six-cylinder self-igniting engine model (330d): Optionally with a 76-millimeter twin tailpipe on the left side of the vehicle or in the 4-pipe version with a 76-millimeter twin tailpipe on the left and right respectively. The exhaust silencers do not only look sophisticated, they also lend a touch of more sportive sound to the turbo diesel power units, which – from this point of view, are known to have suffered some in-house neglect.
In addition to the same muffler variations, Eisenmann Exhaust Systems GmbH offers a supplementary middle exhaust silencer and a sound pipe for the turbocharged gasoline engines 320i and 328i in such a way that they are able to unleash their sounds in a clearly more saturated and sonorous manner.
Eisenmann Exhaust Systems GmbH offers the mufflers with deviating end-pipe dimensions for the big turbo-series six-cylinder model 335i: An end-pipe design with a single 90 millimetre end-pipe on the right and left respectively, is obtainable for this as an alternative to the two 76 millimetre twin end-pipes. A middle exhaust silencer and a sound pipe for the 335i are currently undergoing preparation.
Moreover: The exhaust systems of Eisenmann Exhaust Systems GmbH are suited for the F30/31 variations with conventional rear wheel drive as well as the xDrive four-wheel drive versions respectively. On the contrary, they are not suited for vehicles with towing attachment.
With the exception of sound-pipes that are not licensed for use within the scope of the German Road Traffic Licensing Ordinance, all Eisenmann components that are available for the F30/31 models have the EG-type approvals which render registration in vehicle documents superfluous.
