Opel Vivaro

The new Opel Vivaro is not only more practical and efficient as its predecessor but now even more classy and comfortable with Opel and long-standing partner Irmscher giving the Vivaro a makeover. The van becomes a real luxury vehicle, perfectly suited for comfortable trips with the entire family or for exclusive shuttle and taxi services, with the Irmscher Tourer Pack.

"The Tourer Pack adds a further trim level to the product range of the Opel Vivaro – a package that appeals to clients who value high-quality interior fittings. Now we can offer all of our Vivaro clients – no matter whether they are transporter, family or leisure time focused – an even more comfortable traveling experience," said Steffen Raschig, Opel/Vauxhall Director Commercial Vehicles.

In cooperation with the Irmscher team Opel now offers the exclusive additional Tourer Pack for the Combi – the practical and variable nine-seater – the Van and CrewCab variants of the Vivaro. Individualization specialists Irmscher have been working on vans and minivans for some time now and have created the Irmscher Van Systems department and the new Tourer.

Tourer interior: Fine leather for a classy ambience

Fine, black leather with contrasting silver stitching on the side trim panels, the dashboard and the gear shifter all increase comfort for passengers and appeal to the eye. The Irmscher van specialists have achieved haptic and acoustic advantages with the extensive use of premium-quality velour mats. Both the floor and the wheelhouses are covered with the smooth material. This makes the interior of the Vivaro cozier and quieter as the velour linings reduce driving noise considerably. The interior-pack is available for euro 1,369 for the Vivaro Combi, for euro 526 for the Vivaro CrewCab and for euro 491 for the Vivaro Van (all prices are RRPs excluding VAT).

Wave-Star: 17-inch rims in matt or gloss for an individual appearance

The individualization specialists also have an ace up their sleeves when it comes to the exterior. The bi-colored 7X17 alloy wheels look extremely good on the new Vivaro and round off the design of the stylish all-rounder. The five-spoke-rims can be ordered in two different versions, matt of gloss, for euro 1,500 (net). In both cases the Wave-Star rims come with low rolling-resistance 215/60 R17 Dunlop tires. For an additional euro 130, they can be fitted with the optional Opel Tire pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Valves (standard with the Combi).

Second generation Opel Vivaro: Modern, efficient and extremely spacious

The new interior-pack underpins the strengths of the recently released second generation Vivaro: the combination of elegance and everyday usability. Under the hood, the vans rely on completely new, powerful and extremely efficient turbo diesel engine with an output ranging from 66kW/90 hp to 103 kW/140 hp which can reduce fuel consumption to 5.7 liters per 100 km and CO2 emissions to 149 grams per kilometer in the combined cycle.

Furthermore, the Vivaro continues the successful concept of offering a large number of variants. It is available in two chassis lengths (4,998 mm and 5,398 mm) and two heights (1,971 mm and 2,465 mm) and as a panel van, Combi, Doublecab and platform chassis in various configurations. The panel van offers up to 8.6 cubic meters of load volume and even the shorter version can hold three pallets stowed in a row. In addition, the Vivaro can boast numerous practical details such as an office bench seat with a fold-down center that turns the Vivaro into a mobile office or the large convex mirror in the passenger sun visor. It can be tilted to a position that enables the driver to see into the ‘blind spot' area, while also offering better all-round visibility.
