LARTE Design Range Rover Evoque

The new Sport Uniqueness Vehicle LARTE turns the Range Rover Evoque into a unique eye-catcher The Range Rover Evoque arrived on the SUV segment with a bang showing character right from the start. The Evoque's original progressive lines already make the car unmistakable but only when it is compared with other makes.

LARTE Design is fortunately able to provide the tools to also make it stand out from other Evoques. The Moscow-based premium car-tuning company combines eye-catching designs with high-end products made from such first-class materials as PU RIM plastics and stainless steel sourced mainly from German OEM manufacturers.

Due to the fact that most SUVs like the Range Rover Evoque are never driven off-road, LARTE has discreetly moved the vehicle in the direction of a street racer, which also finds its expression in the black-and-red paintwork. The new body kit with the purist honeycomb grille and the massive air intake in the front apron creates a correspondingly sporty character. Compared with the standard series vehicle, the latter has divested itself of most of its off-road attributes in favour of a more self-assured racing style.

This actually means fewer continuous surfaces, more contours, matt-black contrasting elements and larger air intakes. The two large air intakes on the sides that have been fitted with the double-rowed LED daytime running lights are particularly striking.

LARTE has held the Rover's side skirts – decisive in creating the vehicle's "outlaw charm" – in black so that they create an attractive contrast to the doors. The integrated black high-gloss insert also enhances the length of the compact Evoque. The viewers' eyes are met at the back by a rear apron made from PU RIM, which takes up the front bumper's design while simultaneously creating the appropriate backdrop for the completely redesigned exhaust system. Besides the enticing sound, a further highlight of this system manufactured in stainless steel by a leading OEM supplier is the laser-engraved LARTE logo.

The performance of the top diesel engine located at the other end of this exhaust system was increased to deliver a full 162 kW / 220 HP instead of the previous 140 kW / 190 HP while the maximum torque was simultaneously also raised from 420 to 480 Nm.

Moreover, with the help of the TÜV-approved lowering suspension, the Evoque's centre of gravity has been shifted 30 millimetres closer to the road, which improves both its appearance and handling. LARTE's 21-inch light-alloy rims in glossy black also contribute to the success of the proportions while the filigree double spokes create exciting arcs to convey a highly dynamic impression. Altogether, this means that the Evoque by LARTE Design is a genuine Sport Uniqueness Vehicle – with every single part.
